Kids love to makes things special, and in spring, it’s fun to make a wishing tree, as people have all over the world for generations. Not only is it a beautiful way for us to see our dreams manifest as a beautiful tree blooms, but wishing trees are a sign of hope and compassion — spring things that lovely bunny brings us.  We could all use a little more of that right about now, huh?  This is the one my girls made in our garden.  I wonder if I open it up to my neighbors if they will add to it over time.  Let’s see.  In the meantime, for inspiration, check out this tree by Yoko Ono in Japan. Or this one in Norfolk, Virginia.  Or this amazing one with 100,000 wishes in India. May your spring wishes come true!
