Sweet Tidings and all —
Hope this season has gotten off to a lovely start for you and yours. I’ve been making simple three-ingredient hand cream gifts in beautiful bottles with the folklore of each scent attached. I’ll put up the DYI instructions on the blog in a few days, with lore for all your favorite scents too. Paper lantern craft instructions are here already. It would be pretty to make tiny versions of these lanterns for holiday party tables. It’s a project kids can certainly do. Easy! Our own little “yule log” centerpiece instructions also are in the works.
If you are gift buying this week, the Winter Folklore in a Box and some NEW craft kits, including wreaths, corn husk dolls, and clay lanterns — with all the Folklala trimmings — stories, symbolism, beauty — are on the Folklala SHOP now. Busy, busy, busy? Our craft kits bring some beautiful traditions all together for you, so you have more time to enjoy them with family and friends. If you are a Portland metro resident, we deliver!
Snow is falling in the mountains, and I heard we might get some here in Portland too. Happy snuggling, skiing, ice skating, light hanging and all you do.
